Dr. Martinez has been providing comprehensive dental care to the Albuquerque and surrounding areas since 1979.

He is a native New Mexican born and raised in Chimayo, New Mexico. He attended the University of New Mexico as an undergraduate in chemistry and completed his dental studies at the University of California at San Francisco in 1979.

Active in several dental study clubs that promote excellence and learning of new and existing techniques. His specialties are those that involve complex reconstruction, TMJ problems and cosmetics, however, "everyday" dentistry is also practiced here. What makes him most happy is getting to know our patients and feel that all are part of a large extended family. He is a current member of the American Dental Association, New Mexico Dental Association and the Albuquerque District Dental Society. He is also a member of the CEREC Academy of doctors who promote advanced learning in all aspects of dentistry.

He has written and designed software for use in the management of dental practices.

Many of his hobbies include bicycle riding - both mountain and road, golf, fly fishing, photography, skiing, hiking, woodworking/furniture making and being a computer geek.

In his personal life he is married to Janell and is the father to two grown girls, Katie and Stacey. He has four grandkids.
